The latest great novelty in the association’s life Club Mille Miglia “Franco Mazzotti” is the birth of the Club Mille Miglia “Franco Mazzotti” Foundation, which represents the essential pillar whereon the Award’s success and prestige will be built.

“Men pass away, but their ideas live on. We must do our best to spread and support them”. Thus ends the letter of intents that President Giannino Marzotto handed to Secretary General Raoul Patrizi in late September 2005.
This letter states the necessity of providing the Club with a solid financial base, to support both present and future activities in the right ways and in the long run.

To this purpose, President Marzotto brought forth a proposal to create a foundation on behalf of the Club. Without delay – as normally happens when important decisions are made – a notary public was contacted to start the Foundation at once.
In early 2006, the Club Mille Miglia “Franco Mazzotti” Foundation was officially estatblished. Besides safeguarding the aims of the Club, the Foundation includes among its purposes to prompt those people variously concerned about culture, science and sports and committed to their high ethical and moral values, “to spread loyalty and to emphasize the worth of research whenever a close connection exists between ingenious deductive insight and a strong determination to overcome even the most daunting obstacles”.

There are ambitious projects, characterized by their dynamism and their capacity to attract the interest and participation of an increasing number of important partners, thus expanding to an international level the sphere of influence of the Club Mille Miglia “Franco Mazzotti”, an associative structure which is deep-rooted in the past and strongly determined and capable of looking ahead to future challenges with courage and vitality.
